Unparalleled Nostalgia(Please See Below)

This is the Deku shield I wore when I was 4. 7 years later, at 11, I dressed as adult Link. This shield used to cover my entire back, now it barely covers my shoulder. My Hylian shield disappeared shortly after Christmas 2011, just a few years after it was made.

This shield, along with the rest of my Young Link outfit, was made completely at home(as you can tell), but it has aged fairly well. Sure, the color's really faded, it's bent a bit, the wrist straps were broken and replaced, and some of it's peeled a bit, but overall, it's still in great shape.

This is more than just a piece of my past. To me, this is the epidemy of my own nostalgia. I wore this in front of the mirror just to take that picture and my entire life passed in front of me. I felt every emotion possible in a matter of seconds and, to be completely honest, my eyes watered at the sudden burst of emotion. To make a long story short, this shield, to me, represents my entire childhood.

But, to get down to it, what is the highest level of nostalgia in your life? Is it an object? A person? A room? A color? I want you to go and get it, do whatever with it that brings back memories and emotions, and do whatever you want with the experience. Tell people, write it down, remember that feeling for when you need it most, or just experience it.
